Abstract
In [(o-HgC6F4)(3) (dmf)(2)], the cyclotrimeric tetrafluoro-o-phenylenemercury(II) molecule is ligated by two mu(3)-dmf-O molecules above (Hg-O 2.837(7), 2.895(5), 3.036(5) Angstrom) and below (Hg-O 2.820(5), 2.863(6), 2.927(6) Angstrom) the Hg-3 plane with the two oxygens and the three mercury atoms in a trigonal bipyramidal arrangement about the centroid of the Hg-3 plane.
