Abstract
The title compound, C16H14ClN3OS, is an important, biologically active heterocyclic compound. The triazole ring is oriented at dihedral angles of 66.65 (3) and 82.53 (3)degrees with respect to the 4-chlorophenyl and 2-(3-methoxyphenyl) methyl rings, respectively. The dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 32.90 (2)degrees. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot S hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers.
