Abstract
''The Bomb Group Memorial Association, like other veterans' groups, is strictly nonprofit,'' Mr. [Kowal] said. ''We don't have the kind of money that it takes to go and build a museum, but this way we can have the best of both worlds: a museum and a place where veterans and ex-flyers can come together and remember.'' ''We have nine kids,'' Mrs. [Mary Mulligan] said, ''and if there's a problem and they've been out drinking, they know enough to call so that we can pick them up with no questions asked.'' Following the services, a candlelit dinner of soup and bread will be served ''so that we may understand the Colombians' plight,'' Father [Jorge Chacon] said. ''Their suffering is our suffering.''
