Abstract
HAPAB FDCTC, the title compound, is a recommended topical antifungal preparation available in Belguium as a 1% concentration either as ointment, powder or solution. The bases for the three respective forms are: polyethylene glycol; talc, 1% salicylic acid and 10% boric acid; and 1% isopropyl alcohol. Five cases are reported of acute eczematous allergic contact dermatitis following treatment with one of the forms of FDCTC; there was one case of tinea inguinalis, two of tinea pedis, one of erythrasma of the groin and one of dyshidrosis of the hands.
