#(Conclusion)Finally, I support Venkatram's comment that there are potential difficulties and weaknesses in many of the experimental methodologies for determining traffic-generated resuspension. Nevertheless, I consider that many of the experiments untertaken using these methodologies can provide valuable data that can be used, with appropriate care, for model development and assessment. However, it is of prime importance to remember that models validated by or based on such experimental methodologies, should be applied for locations with different traffic densities and environmental conditions, only with extreme caution.
