Abstract
The paper presets model of combustion of solid waste substances in fixed bed and its application in case of co-combustion process of mixture of wood chips and sewage sludge. The model consists of mass and energy balances of gas and solid fractions. The main aim of the calculation presented in the paper is investigation of influence of sludge part in the mixture on process run and emission of gaseous hazardous substances, like hydrocarbons, sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxide and hydrogen chloride.
