Abstract
The relationship between the ionic composition of electrolytes and the element and phase composition of anodic films produced in them is studied by the P-31 NMR spectroscopy, laser mass spectrometry, and X-ray diffractometry. The simultaneous and proportional incorporation of Ln and P into the films in the course of microplasma oxidation is determined by the presence of the polyphosphate-ln complex anions in the electrolyte. The average P/Ln ratios tin at. %) in the films is close to three. The assumption is made that, in addition to phases of Al2O3, anodic films contain chain polyphosphates Ln(PO3)(3), metaphosphate glasses Ln(2)O(3) . 3P(2)O(5), or their mixtures. General features of the influence exerted by complex anions, consisting of a polyphosphate and either divalent or trivalent cations, on the composition and formation of anodic films, are discussed.
