Some different phlogistics have been tested in the mouse paw. Serotonin, formalin, silver nitrate and yeast were found to be the most suitable. A number of substances with anti-inflammatory properties were comparatively tested against these substances. The method for quantitative evaluation of the experiments has been discussed.
