Abstract
Observations regarding the effect of dioxane on hepatic drug: metabolism and lipid peroxidation are discussed. Enhancement of drug-metabolizing enzymes is associated with a significant increase in mouse liver microsomal protein content, levels of cytochrome B 5, and chytochrome P-450.
