In the structure of the title compound, C12H15N3O3S, the thioamide and amide groups are almost coplanar with the benzene ring. The planes of the NO2 group and the benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 40.8 (2)degrees. The crystal packing shows intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot S hydrogen bonds, forming centrosymmetric dimers which are stacked along [001].
