Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP To determine the relative site of inhibition in the sweat gland by aluminum chlorohydrate (I), aluminum zirconium chlorohydrate glycine complex (II) and aluminum chloride (III), human forearm sweat glands were studied using the Scotch tape stripping procedure. It was found that the primary site of action of I and II was at the level of the stratum corneum layer, whereas the site of III was deeper.
