IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The buffering effect of hydrotalcite (I) and the mechanism of the antipepsin effect were studied in vitro. When stored in closed containers, the biological properties were unchanged after 10 months at 50DGC. It was suggested that I inhibition of pepsin was due to a combination of the pH effect, adsorption and the presence of aluminum ions liberated during dissolution.
