BIOSIS COPYRIGHT: BIOL ABS. The possibility of separation of PAH by different adsorbents like aluminium oxide, aluminium oxide and silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, Bio-Beads SX-12 using in the liquid column chromatography separation of these compounds was compared. The extent of removal of heterocompounds from the mixture of PAHs as well as the selectivity of the separation of model PAHs were considered. The methodics of the preparation of the mobile phase, the characteristics of columns and the procedures of separations as well as elution volumes of some model hydrocarbons and heterocompounds were presented. The paper is an introduction to modification of the methods of PAHs separation which are pollution of human natural environment.
