The enhancing effect of hartman, indole and skatole on the mutagenicity of 2-aminoantaracene, 2-aminofluorene, 2-acetylaminofluorene, benzo(a)pyrene, 7-12 dimethylbenzo(a) anthracene, benzo(a)anthrocene, chrysens and dibenzo (a,h) anthracene was investigated. Mutagenicity was evaluated with Ames's bioassay using S. typhimurium TA98 and rat liver microsomes.
