Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP A limited stability study on repackaged nitroglycerin (Nitrostat) tablets was done in a hospital pharmacy. The tablets were repackaged in tens, in amber glass containers, with metal screw caps tightly closed. The repackaging was done under normal working conditions in an air conditioned area. No cotton or filler was inserted into the repackaged bottles, tablets from 2 different lots having different labeled strengths were used. The repackaged tablets were stored under various temperatures for various periods of time. Results are presented in a table.
