Abstract

IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP Guidelines for choosing the method of administration of nitroglycerin (glyceryl trinitrate) and isosorbide dinitrate for improving patient compliance, fewer adverse symptoms and a more productive life for patients with angina and congestive heart failure are discussed. Available nitrate delivery systems (dosage forms and routes of administration) are listed and discussed.
