Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP To prepare sterically stabilized solid lipid nanoparticles, two series of sterically stabilized (stealth) solid lipid nanoparticles were prepared using 3 amounts of 2 polyethylene glycol derivatives and albumin human (human serum albumin); nanoparticles were characterized and evaluated for albumin human adsorption and compared with non-stealth solid lipid nanoparticles. Stealth solid lipid nanoparticles were in the nanometer size range and could be freeze-dried. Albumin adsorption was lower on stealth than on non-stealth solid lipid nanoparticles.
