Abstract

IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The synthesis of the diastereomers of 2-(4-biphenylyl)-3-hydroxy-2-methyl-3-phenylpropionic acid and their anti-inflammatory activity in rats are described. The erythro diastereomer showed anti-inflammatory activity comparable to the reference drug naproxen.
