IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The effects of indomethacin (I) on diuresis and urinary prostaglandin E2 excretion were studied in 2 children aged 15 months and 2.6 yr with nephrogenic diabetes insipidus. I was given at a dose of 3 mg/kg/day in 3 doses for 3 days. In both patients, there was a significant decrease of diuresis. Urinary prostaglandin E2 was very high in one patient and slightly elevated in the other. Urinary cyclic AMP values were abnormal in both patients.
