Abstract

IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The synthesis of 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-3,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole, its 4-bromo derivative and a series of esters and carbamates of these compounds as well as their pharmacological properties are described. Some of the compounds exhibited hypotensive, local anesthetic, anti-arrhythmic, analgesic, depressant, anti-inflammatory, platelet aggregation inhibition and hypoglycemic properties.
