HAPAB A method is described for the qualitative identification of pesticides using inexpensive equipment which is commonly found in any analytical laboratory. Thin layer chromatography, using microscope slides as plates and hydroquinone, 2',7'-dichlorofluorescein, and silver nitrate as reagents, is the technique developed. A table of Rf values for 27 pesticides is given for the two solvent systems used ( acetone-heptane and heptane ). ANALYSIS 67/01/00, 32 1966
