IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP A modified method for the in vitro generation of glucuronides was developed using immobilized rat hepatic uridine-5'-diphosphoglucuronosyltransferase instead of rabbit uridine-5'-diphosphoglucuronosyltransferase, and the applicability of this modification was demonstrated by the generation of p-hydroxyphenobarbital glucuronide, a metabolite of phenobarbital.
