Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP Regression analysis, a very powerful statistical technique that is used in fitting data to curves, the use of which has found many applications in pharmacy and related disciplines, is described. The underlying assumptions in a regression analysis via the use of residual plots are discussed. Complete real data sets that illustrate each of the 4 assumptions studying the solubility of diazepam with ethanol (ethyl alcohol), propylene glycol and water, are included.
