Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP To investigate the effects of propylene glycol on the skin penetration of triprolidine, 5 formulations of triprolidine and propylene glycol or other vehicles were prepared and evaluated on human cadaver skin. Results indicated that the penetration of the propylene glycol formulation was far superior to the other formulations. It was concluded that propylene glycol may significantly enhance the permeability of triprolidine.
