Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The clinical course of an 11-yr-old patient who developed seizures with long term ingestion of a medication containing propylene glycol (I) for candidiasis-endocrinopathy syndrome with hypoparathyroidism is reported. The frequency of seizures increased despite treatment with anticonvulsants. Seizures ceased 5 months after I was removed from the preparation. The clinical course of this patient suggests a casual relationship between the seizures and long term ingestion of I.
