Abstract
HEEP COPYRIGHT: BIOL ABS. This study was designed to determine the effects of toxaphene (insecticide, environmental contaminant) on avoidance behavior of black duck (Anas rubripes) young. There were no significant differences in avoidance behavior between control ducklings and ducklings from the toxaphene treatments. Toxaphene at dietary concentrations of 10 and 50 ppm did not alter avoidance behavior.
