Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP Pulmonary edemas were reported after IV magnesium sulfate (I) and IM administration of 12 mg betamethasone acetate, combination, betamethasone sodium phosphate (Celestone Soluspan) in 2 pregnant patients for pre-eclampsia and to accelerate fetal lung maturity. It was concluded that this complication should be kept in mind when using I in conjunction with glucocorticoids.
