The influence of the technological parameters on the epoxidation of canola oil with peracetic acid obtained "in situ" in the reaction of 30 wt% hydrogen peroxide and glacial acetic acid (99.8 wt%) in the presence of acidic ion exchange resin Dowex 50WX2 has been investigated. The ranges of variations of relevant technological parameters: temperature, hydrogen peroxide to ethylenic unsaturation molar ratio, acetic acid to ethylenic unsaturation molar ratio and reaction time were established in the preliminary studies. The optimization of the parameters was performed by the application of statistical experimental design method based on a rotatable uniform design. The process was described using the following functions: the conversion of ethylenic unsaturation, the selectivity of transformation of ethylenic unsaturation to oxirane rings, the yield of epoxidized oil. The courses of functions of the corresponding parameters were plotted in the system of two variables. The maximum values of the function and the optimal technological parameters were established.
