Abstract
Terra's gaseous coating is involved in a major phenomenon called the 'greenhouse effect', which consists of the disadjustment of the heat radiative exchange of the Earth with the cosmic space. The Protocol of Kyoto names the gases that have the greenhouse effect, as follows: carbon dioxide, methane, dental gas.. hydrofluocarbides, perfluorocarbides and sulphur hexafluoride. Knowing the values of these gases emissions is a useful instrument for the decision factors in order to evaluate the existent situation, by creating the necessary basis in order to issue the environment politics that would lead to a descending evolution of those emissions, in order to obey the obligations of the Kyoto Protocol. This paper presents the anthropic activities that have the most important weight in generating the greenhouse effect gas emission in the Gorj county, the evolution of the gas emission responsible for producing this phenomenon, politics and measures for reducing the polluting substances.
