Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The compatibility of ketoprofen with a number of commonly used tablet excipients was determined using differential scanning calorimetry. Ketoprofen was found to be incompatible with glycerin palmitostearate (glyceryl palmitostearate; Precirol Ato 5), magnesium stearate, calcium phosphate dibasic dihydrate (dicalcium phosphate dihydrate; Emcompress), povidone (PVP), crospovidone (cross-linked PVP) and lactose.
