Abstract
IPA COPYRIGHT: ASHP The stability of bisoprolol fumarate tablet dosage forms with granular calcium phosphate dibasic (dicalcium phosphate anhydrous) is reported. Instability of the drug with the granular material was due to an acidic environment created by this material in the presence of moisture. Bisoprolol is less stable at low pH compared to the neutral pH created with milled calcium phosphate dibasic.
