Abstract

Phthalic anhydride was esterified with C-4-C-12 alcs. and hydrogenated on Ni/Al2O3 to resp. di(alkyl)-cis or trans-cyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylates. The products were analyzed by gas chromatog. with mass spectroscopy to det. retention times of the individual compds.
