Abstract
Seven compounds have been isolated for the first time from Heliotropium subulatum namely, 1-hydroxymethyl-1 beta,2 beta-epoxypyrrolizidine (1), curassanecine (2), heliocurassavicine (3), heleurine N-oxide (4), 1-triacontanol (5), octadecanoic acid (6) and 1-methoxy-E-4-eicosen-3-one (7). Their structures have been elucidated through spectroscopic techniques.
