H-1-NMR relaxation measurements were successfully used in characterizing the influence of the activators ZnO and stearic acid on the network structure of NR. The H-1-NMR relaxation parameters of NR vulcanizates obtained from different amounts of activators are shown in detail. NR vulcanizates cured with different amounts of activators show different molecular mobility due to different crosslink densities. The temperature dependence of T-1, T-2, was also measured. The evolution of the network structure during the vulcanization process, with different amounts of ZnO, was also depicted.
