Abstract
The problem of creation of perfect and two-dimensional ordered Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films are considered in this work. In particular the role of physico-chemical state of semiconductor substrate in LB layers in-plane structure formation are investigated. The hexagonal structure of stearic acid bilayer on the atomic clean surface (111) CdxHg1-xTe are registered by Low Energy Electron Diffraction. LB films of some amphiphilic phthalocyanine derivatives have been produced and the relationship between their structure, electrical and optical properties have been explained. The results obtained show the possibility to control electroconductivity, optical absorption band shape and optical planar dichroizm of phtalocyanine LB films. Nitrogen oxide gas sensor based on LB films conductivity modulation phenomenon is proposed.
