Résumé Invité à réfléchir sur le rôle propre infirmier au coeur de l'équipe pluridisciplinaire de soins palliatifs, la notion de globalité peut apparaître comme le premier référentiel. Or cette attention à la totalité de ce que vit le malade est normalement la tâche de tout professionnel. La spécificité infirmière, partiellement partagée avec l'aide-soignante, serait d'être la garante d'une attention au corps et au temps du patient grâce à laquelle elle pourra sensibiliser le reste de l'équipe à la situation singulière de ce dernier, y compris au niveau des décisions éthiques à prendre. Penser le rôle propre infirmier au sein de l'équipe pourra ainsi conduire à une éthique du temps et du corps inscrivant, au coeur de cette dernière, une responsabilité particulière de l'infirmière à l'égard des autres professionnels.Summary When invited to reflect about the specific role of the nurse in an interdisciplinary palliative care team, the notion of a global approach appears as a primary element. But when considering health care in general, a global approach, i.e. a patient centered approach is already the norm. The specificity of the nurse, especially when working with nursing assistants in this context, would be to guarantee specific attention to the patient's body and time, by which the nurse helps the rest of the team become fully aware of the patient's unique situation, including during moments when decisions with an ethical corollary must be made. Reflecting on the specific role of the nurse in this type of team can lead to an ethical approach to the body and time, highlighting the unique responsibilities of the nurse in relation to other health care professionals.
