Abstract
Kinetic and electrochemical study reveals that (1) the secondly stable hydrogen atom is reactive, (2) there are two reaction intermediates; one produces 1-butene (C'4) and t-2-C'4 and the other c-2-C'4, and (3) n-butane (C'4) is mainly produced via adsorbed 1-C'4. Isotopic study proves that the formation of the intermediates is a reversible process.
