Abstract
A number of phenolic antioxidants were prepared using the reaction between acryloyl chloride and o-, m-, and p-aminophenols. These antioxidants were used in acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber compounds to achieve better products for various sealing applications. Several techniques were used to evaluate the prepared antioxidants and the processed rubber compounds.
