Introduction A few medical indications are often neglected when talking about lasers. For children's viral tumors, laser may be an option compared with invasive surgical treatments. Anogenital HPV lesions are also called condyloma acuminatum and preferably anogenital warts for children.Warts CO2 lasers should not be the first treatment because of the spontaneous regressive course of this pathology. Among common warts, those requiring treatment are painful warts or warts with functional or aesthetic signs. Three indications keep on going for CO2 lasers: non-respondent warts; periungueal warts; and painful plantar warts, with caution for extremity warts, mosaic warts, large warts-exceeding 4 cm in their major axis.Anogenital warts Infections observed for children under the age of 3 resolve in most cases without treatment within 2 years. For children under the age of 5, we recommend to abstain and wait. If the infection persists 12 months, treatment should be considered. For children between 5 and 10, anogenital warts are less frequent and it is the number of lesions and troubles noticed in child that lead or not to treatment. Treatment is always recommended for children over 10. The best treatments are CO2 laser, cryotherapy, and local applications of trichloroacetic acid. Genital warts are not a good indicator for child abuse for the younger child.Molluscum contagiosum Only a few studies exist on molluscum contagiosum laser treatments. Pulsed dye lasers () are very effective therapeutic options: they are safe, quick and bleeding free. They are particularly interesting in the treatment of anxious children, in hypertrophic or keloid exposed scar zones, or when other methods have failed. Conclusion Even if most cases can be resolved with abstention or other new or classical methods (cryotherapy, imiquimod ...), CO2 or dye lasers are very helpful in some other cases. We hope that the improvement of the target's specificity will increase and make their use easier in the future.
