Abstract
Perbunan NT is an acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber manufactured by a new, more environmentally compatible process which replaced the former sales product Perbunan N. like Perbunan N, Perbunan NT is particularly suitable for the manufacture of moulded articles. Perbunan NT is characterised by: a high standard of physical properties better rheological properties than Perbunan N. A high rate of vulcanisation is combined with adequate flow properties. There is more efficient mould filling than with Perbunan N under the same injection pressure, as shown by tests using the ''Rheovulkameter''; a considerably lower injection pressure is needed to achieve the same degree of mould filling. In most cases, it shows less mould fouling with Perbunan N.
