Abstract
The article reports the decision of environmental consulting and engineering company ENSR Asia to study volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and nitrogen oxide, as well as the photochemical haze they cause, in the region of Zhu Pearl River in China. It notes that the government of Hong Kong, China is looking for ways to solve its smog problems. The government is implementing air quality management techniques that include emission control measures. It is said that there is a possibility that high concentrations of VOCs might not result in a high production of ozone.
