Abstract
Increasing emission of Green-House-Gases (GHGs) and escalated energy demand for flourishing various industrial sectors, scientific aspects and technologies along with continual global depletion/scarcity of energy sources, seek the attentions of scientists to explore some novel, sustainable and renewable fuel resources. In this concern, traditional biomasses, deliver a variety of choices for production of such clean/green sources of energy, like, biodiesel, bio-hydrogen, bio-methane/bio-gas and bio-alcohols which offer a great reliability; the limitations regarding such cases lie only on the proper economic industrialization. Therefore, the current articles aim to summarize few recent research activities, usability and limitations of these petro-alternative biofuels and the value of traditional biomass to meet the energy crisis.
