The authors present the development of a toxicity identification and evaluation (TIE) method for dioxin-like and estrogenic compds. of sediments, directed by responses generated in dioxin responsive (DR)- and estrogen responsive (ER)-CALUX (Chem. Activated Luciferase Gene Expression) assays.
