(Chemical Equation Presented) Me, myself, and styrene: Yttrium and neodymium allyl complexes bearing a bridged bis(indenyl) ligand (Cat.; Ln = Y, Nd) are active single-component catalysts for the polymerization of styrene up to 120°C, giving highly isotactic polystyrene (iPS), with number-average molecular weights (Mn) of 12000-102000 and polydispersities (M w/Mn) of 1.5-2.6. © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
