Abstract
Crosslinked poly-hydroxymethyl acrylamide were synthesized by the stepwise polymerization in aqueous solution of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide(NHMPA) with N, N-methylenebisacry(BIS) as cross-linking agent and Ammonium persulfate as initiator. Interpenetrating polymer network(IPN) hydrogels were prepared by introducing linear polyethylene glycol into the crosslinked poly-hydroxymethyl acrylamide as the second component. The swelling behavior of IPN gel before and after being washed was studied by swelling experiment. The chemical structures and microcosmic morphology of hydrogels were investigated by means of the scanning electron microscope. Thermal properties of the IPN composites were studied by thermal gravimetric analysis and differential thermal scanning. Results show that, IPN composite material has high opening rate. Prepared holes in the skeleton of the composite has more uniform distribution of phase change materials and better fixed effect, has better thermal stability.
