Abstract
An improved method for the immobilization of bovine serum albumin (BSA) on monodispersed colloidal silica particles is described. The particles were modified with the copolymer of maleic anhydride and styrene or methyl methacrylate. The applicability of the hybrid particles to the immunological agglutination test is examined.
