Abstract
Heterogenic polymeric systems of polypropylene and polystyrene with different morphology have been obtained by UV initiated polymerization of liquid styrene within polypropylene matrices of controlled molecular and supermolecular structure. The influence of styrene treatment and its polymerization in situ on the crystalline structure of the polypropylene matrix is determined and the correlation between the initial structure of the matrix and the dispersion of the polystyrene component is shown.
