Abstract
This paper investigates the room-temperature reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerizations of methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and styrene using the redox system of BPO and DMA as the initiator in the presence of CTA. It has been found that molecular weight increases linearly with the monomer conversion with extremely narrow molecular weight distribution except in the range of low conversion in both bulk and THF solution.
