Abstract
By respective addition of such anti-redeposition agents as sodium polyacrylate, modified polyethylene glycol, styrene-acrylic acid copolymer and polyethylene imine into liquid detergent and determination of the spectrum reflecting ratio of soiled cloth to unsoiled cloth before and after washing tests and washing cycle tests, the anti-redeposition effect of each agent was tested. The results of washing tests showed that anti-redeposition agents enhanced the detergency of liquid detergent on sebum soiled cloth. And results of washing cycle tests showed that the whiteness retention of unsoiled cotton cloth was increased by 3%-12% with addition of anti-redeposition agents, specially two mixed anti-redeposition agents.
