Abstract
A modified polyester-imide impregnating resin for the random winding of motor was prepared using novel high boiling point reactive crosslinking monomer and initiated polymerization inhibition system. The resin is a novel environmental-friendly solvent-free resin without styrene and vinyl toluene; it has good thermal properties and low volatile content, and can cure rapidly under low temperature. The cured resin has excellent electrical and mechanical properties. The ohmic heating device for the random winding was prepared, and the ohmic heating process was simulated. The results show that the mass of varnish covered on winding treated by ohmic heating process is higher than that by common impregnating process. Ohmic heating process is more suitable for modified polyester-imide resin than conventional polyester resin.
